I think you have to be in a creative mood to create a meal. I barely have enough energy to open the boxes. I see glimpses of sun every so often and I'm hoping for renewed energy soon.
a passable cook. I would like to work my way up to be a good cook. My previous title was 'The queen of instant.' Now I am trying to redefine myself. Doing research I found myself leaning towards the Pennsylvania-Dutch style recipes. Very basic recipes that I can use for my cooking supplies from my garden, canning and from my long term storage. My goal is to make great low-cost meals with what I have on hand. BTW...I used to keep all these notes on my laptop. Unfortunately it died without backup. Now I start my notes again. If you ever want to leave a fool-proof recipe...please do! I need all the help I can get :)
